Talk about deep DEEP archive when it comes to the history of the Iron Game. Before Bob Hoffman started the York Barbell Company, he ran the York Oil Burner Company. Later he established The York Oil Burner Athletic Club, a group of weightlifters who trained on the top floor of his factory/show room on Broad Street. It was from these roots that the York Barbell company was born! Now you can pay homage to some of the earliest roots of weightlifting with this classic mug.
